If search option not working or get disabled in XP

-> In the Run windows type

c:\windows\inf

press enter this will open the inf folder

-> Right click on the srchasst.inf file and select install option

-> Load the XP CD in the CD ROM when asked and press OK or if you have dump of XP on your system then give the path

example d:\windows\i386 and press enter

-> It will automatically install the missing file for your search option and your search option start working

  4. Your Search Option is not workng Dont worry just do…

    START — > RUN —>
    regsvr32 wshom.ocx
    regsvr32 jscript.dll
    regsvr32 urlmon.dll

    and also finally u need to start your system ..it will work.

    That’s it Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!

    I have tried the solution mentioned above its works fine. Could u tell me the solution for opening User accounts in control panel. If i click the user accounts white screen appears and disappears within a seconds. Could u tell me the solution for accessing the user accounts. please please
