sudo : – set to setuid error solution

-> Restart you Machine

-> While computer is restarting hold

Command-S

until you see text scrolling through the window. which boots the computer into single user mode

-> At the Localhost% prompt type

/sbin/mount -uw
/sbin/SystemStarter

After this various services will startup.

-> When the prompt Localhost% reappers type :

passwd root

it will prompt twice for the password

-> After entering the password type reboot

This will reboot your machine.
